Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for Production Supervisors to work in their leading facility in Telford.

Due to the nature of the business, the company is looking for people with proven supervisory experience from the Plastics Extrusion / Extrusion industry.

The client is looking for people on both their day and night shifts; the salary will depend on what shift pattern you would prefer to do.

For the successful Shift Supervisor, our client is offering:

1. Permanent position
2. Starting salary of up to £31,500 per annum (dependant on experience and shift)
3. 8 am - 8 pm OR 8 pm-8 am (4 on 4 off shift pattern)

The Role of the Shift Supervisor will include:

1. Managing a team of between 15-20 staff on the night shift
2. Setting out daily production targets to the team prior to the shift commencing
3. Ensuring daily targets are achieved
4. Completing paperwork for all the staff on the shift
5. Working closely with the Shift Manager on the day shift
6. Reporting into the Operations Manager

What our client is looking for in a Shift Supervisor:

1. NEBS Management Qualification
2. NVQ Level 3 in Manufacturing/Production Management - ESSENTIAL
3. Previous H&S Training/Qualifications - ESSENTIAL
4. Appropriate experience of operating in a similar role
5. Experience within the Plastics Extrusion industry - ESSENTIAL
6. Experience with managing a team
7. Flexible approach to the working hours
