The Best Connection are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join one of our client's dynamic teams, based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield!!

Responsibilities:

  • Supervising daily production activities to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Splitting time between the production floor, overseeing and leading a team of four staff members and essential administrative duties.
  • Lead and manage the production team to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
  • Set up and oversee the production line, troubleshooting machinery and process issues when required.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on protocols and procedures.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including updating production information in SAP, managing quality audit records, and ordering parts.
  • Monitor production schedules to meet targets and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Submit reports on production outcomes and recommend improvements.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • A detail-oriented approach to process optimisation.
  • Experience in a production environment and familiarity with SAP systems.

Working hours:

  • Monday to Friday rotating shifts; 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm

Pay rate:

  • £14 - £16 per hour increases once probationary period passed
