Job Opportunity: Production Supervisor

Location: Morecambe

Orion is partnering with a heavy industrial manufacturing business in Morecambe to recruit a confident and experienced Production Supervisor.

Required Experience:

• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes
• Background in manufacturing, ideally in heavy industry
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to maximize productivity on the shop floor
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings
• Experience in welding and fabrication is advantageous but not essential
• Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment is preferred
• Ability to collaborate confidently with cross-departmental teams
• Manage a team of up to 20 welders in the fabrication shop
• Drive productivity and efficiency improvements
• Motivate the team to achieve KPIs and bonus incentives
• Coordinate with multi-department teams for smooth production operations
• Mentor team members
