We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join our Operations department. The role involves ensuring vehicles are manufactured correctly, cost-effectively, and delivered on time, in accordance with customer build specifications and quality standards.

Main duties include:

  • Managing and reviewing production progress against deadlines, notifying the Production Manager of any deviations.
  • Overseeing production and quality processes, equipment, and work environments to ensure high-quality output.
  • Setting goals and objectives for oneself and the team, implementing strategies to improve performance.
  • Conducting daily team meetings to communicate targets, KPIs, and resolve issues.
  • Motivating and empowering the team to meet objectives, embodying company values, and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Promoting a safety culture and implementing safety initiatives.

Candidates should have management experience in Engineering, Automotive, or Manufacturing sectors, with a proven track record of meeting production targets while maintaining quality and controlling costs. Strong communication, leadership, planning, and organizational skills are essential, along with experience in cost savings in a high-mix/low-volume environment.

Working hours are Monday – Wednesday 7am – 6pm & Thursday 7am – 5.30pm, with a salary range of £37,500-42,500 PA DOE.
