Role Overview

We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our client based in Newbury on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a busy production environment, ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of work across assembly and print production teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of assemblers and print production staff.
  • Plan and manage production schedules: allocate tasks, track progress, troubleshoot delays, and reassign resources when needed.
  • Ensure all production output meets quality standards, performing regular checks and initiating corrective actions as required.
  • Monitor team performance, promote accountability, and provide hands-on leadership and support.
  • Uphold workplace safety, compliance regulations, and internal operating procedures.
  • Assist with the training and development of assembly and print finishing staff.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of print production and/or print finishing processes is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with finishing techniques such as cutting, binding, lamination, etc., is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A quality-driven mindset with solid problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexible, proactive, and adaptable to shifting production demands.

Working Hours

08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday, 37.5hrs per week, with 30 minutes deducted for lunch per day and 2 additional 15-minute breaks during the day.
