Qualifications

Location: Atworth, Wiltshire     Salary: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 (Depending on experience)     Hours: Monday to Friday

The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our prestigious bodybuilder brand as a Production Supervisor at our factory in Wiltshire. If you are fully qualified in your profession and want to work for a company with over 35 years in the industry, this role is for you.

We are seeking an experienced workshop supervisor to lead our new team at the commercial vehicle bodybuilding factory in Wiltshire. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leading and inspiring a team, ensuring quality and compliance in production, and delivering excellent customer service.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the workshop team of bodybuilders and skilled workers to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery
  • Leading and motivating the team to achieve high standards
  • Maintaining all production processes in line with vehicle type approval requirements
  • Ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and company policies
  • Ensuring compliance with company H&S, maintenance, and quality control standards
  • Reading and working from engineering and fabrication drawings
  • Performing drilling, jigged and un-jigged assembly using power tools safely
  • Preferred experience in MIG/TIG welding in accordance with engineering drawings and standards
  • Installing insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies
  • Basic wiring of lights and fixtures on commercial vehicles
  • Carrying out fabrication work ensuring quality and safety standards
  • Maintaining good housekeeping in all work areas
  • Supporting other projects or duties as directed
  • Maintaining good personal timekeeping and conduct
