Title: Production Supervisor / Team Leader

Salary: Up to GBP32,000

Hours: Monday to Friday

Our client based in Bristol currently has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking person with food production experience. This is a hands-on role that means being right there on the factory floor, focusing on compliance, technical standards, health and safety, food safety, quality, and production output. You'll be the go-to person ensuring that our team runs smoothly, maintains high standards, and hits production targets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Actively supervising and engaging with our production staff during the morning and afternoon shifts, ensuring everything operates seamlessly and efficiently.
• Upholding all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations, helping train the shift team to keep everything compliant while making sure documentation is always up to date.
• Monitoring production processes to ensure our products meet all quality standards and swiftly taking action to resolve any issues.
• Organizing staff assignments to effectively utilize everyone's talents.
• Ensuring adherence to production schedules to maximize output while maintaining quality.
• Managing resources wisely to minimize waste.
• Ensuring correct usage of equipment and promptly reporting any maintenance needs to maintain high technical standards.
• Promoting a culture of safety by enforcing safety procedures and conducting routine checks.
• Managing and motivating our team, providing clear direction to ensure everyone is performing.
• Utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with the Production Manager and other departments.

Skills & Experience Sought:

• Current/recent experience as a Line Leader or Supervisor within an FMCG environment.
• Experience in training, mentoring, and managing others in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to set and demand high standards.
• A clear understanding of Health & Safety and Hygiene standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
