Job description

A leading manufacturing company based in Coventry is seeking a skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to drive performance and lead a team in a fast-paced production environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that values excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Offering a competitive salary of up to 40,000 per year, this role provides plenty of opportunity to make a meaningful impact within an established organisation.

The role operates on rotating shifts, and the successful candidate must be able to cover night shifts on a rota basis-including cover for holidays, emergencies, and unexpected absences.

Shift Schedule:

• AM: 6:00-14:00 (Friday finish: 13:10)
• PM: 14:00-22:30 (Friday finish: 18:20)
• Night: Sunday 20:50-6:00 Monday-Thursday 22:30-6:00

Your Role as Production Supervisor:

• Plan and organise personnel and equipment to meet customer programme requirements
• Oversee key KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and team attendance
• Manage annual budgets and strive to exceed operational targets
• Support the rollout of new products, machinery, and processes
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance equipment and process efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Recruit, train, and lead production operatives
• Inspire and support your team, handling HR matters confidently
• Communicate effectively across all levels
• Uphold Health & Safety and Environmental policies, promoting safe practices
• Conduct Standard Work Confirmation (SWC) and deputise across production teams as needed
