We have an exciting roadmap ahead for new products, services, production capacity and business expansion. As a result of this continued success, we are expanding our teams in Campsie. We currently have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the supervisor is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of production through the manufacturing line to meet the weekly production targets in the most effective manner.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Controlling and managing the day to day production levels on the shop floor, to ensure that the targets are achieved. To ensure relevant parts are available in a timely manner.
  • To ensure that the highest quality of product is maintained.
  • To attend and organise the daily and weekly production meetings.
  • To manage the manufacturing team on a daily basis in terms of labour, work instruction, attendance management and any disciplinary and grievance issues that may arise.
  • To promote health & safety within the workplace.
  • To ensure the line is run in accordance with lean manufacturing practices and principles.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
  • Ensure compliance to all general site Rules, Regulations and Policies.
  • To promote and maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations.

About you

  • Candidates should be qualified to minimum of GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Significant production experience gained in a highly pressured manufacturing environment.
  • Experience and proven track record of Supervisory and/or people management is essential.
  • An understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques an advantage.
  • Computer literate and experience of Oracle/ERP systems.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to and meet strict deadlines and able to adapt to changing priorities & goals.
  • Good team player and able to work on own initiative.
