Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for an Assembly Supervisor for our client in the Bristol area.

The Company

A successful, secure and growing manufacturer supplying their products to a variety of industries. Their recent successes are allowing them to grow and develop their business. Due to an increased demand and workload, our client needs a skilled, experienced Assembly Production Supervisor to oversee the department and ensure productivity.

The Role:

1. You will be responsible for leading and supervising the assembly department alongside the assembly manager. Key responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
2. Day-to-day distribution and fulfilment of work to the assembly department
3. Managing, supporting and guiding the assembly staff
4. Proactively manage resources in line with capabilities and planning priorities
5. Coordinate distribution of repairs, returns and rework jobs
6. Ensure good housekeeping and consistent practices across the department
7. Management and delivery of department targets
8. Undertake employee performance reviews
9. Identify staff personal progression plans and training opportunities
10. Support and contribute to continuous improvement activities

About you:

1. Proven experience and competency in a managerial or supervisory position
2. Strong communication skills
3. IT competent, ERP experience is desirable
4. Self-starter and innovative
5. Excellent interpersonal skills
6. Experience in engineering, manufacturing, assembly or production is desirable.

Benefits:

1. £30,000 - £32,000 per year
2. Monday to Friday 8 am - 4.30 pm
3. 39 hours a week
4. Free parking on site (BS1)
5. 25 days + 8 banks
6. Pension
