Production Supervisor

Alexander Steele is partnering with a food manufacturing business in North Yorkshire to recruit Production Supervisors. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Manage and coordinate production line activities to ensure efficient workflow, meet daily targets, and maintain product quality and safety standards.
2. Monitor processes to ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, and company quality procedures, conducting regular checks and collaborating with QA teams to resolve issues.
3. Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance, teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
4. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, waste, downtime, and labour efficiency, reporting deviations to management with suggested improvements.
5. Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and waste reduction, actively participating in lean manufacturing and efficiency projects.

On Offer

• 4 on 4 off shifts – days or nights.
• Day shifts: £16.60 - £17.35 per hour; Night shifts: £17.72 - £18.47 per hour.
• Pension and overtime available.
