Job Description

Alexander Steele are working in partnership with a food manufacturing business in North Yorkshire which are looking to recruit Production Supervisors. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team and working in a manufacturing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate production line activities to ensure efficient workflow, meet daily targets, and maintain product quality and safety standards.
  • Monitor processes to comply with HACCP, BRC, and company quality procedures, conducting regular checks and collaborating with QA teams to resolve any issues.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure high performance, good teamwork, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, waste, downtime, and labour efficiency, and report deviations to management with suggested improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and waste reduction, actively participating in lean manufacturing and efficiency projects.

On Offer

  • 4 on 4 off - days or nights.
  • Days - £16.60 - £17.35 p/h, Night - £17.72 - £18.47
  • Pension and OT.
