As part of its ongoing growth, the company is seeking a hands-on and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations and help drive a culture of continuous improvement across the production floor.

The Role:

In this pivotal role, you will take the lead in supervising a skilled team at a high-performing manufacturing facility. Your focus will be on maintaining production efficiency, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering consistent product quality. You will play a key role in optimising performance, coaching team members, and contributing to ongoing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety First: Promote and enforce robust health and safety practices, ensuring all team members operate in line with company policies. Lead daily safety briefings to set clear expectations.

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and support a team of operators, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Carry out regular one-to-ones and performance reviews.

Shift Reporting: Oversee the collection and reporting of production data, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to inform operational decisions.

Process Improvements: Lead and participate in initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and support lean manufacturing principles, including 5S implementation.

Standards & Compliance: Uphold compliance with ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards, with a strong emphasis on workplace safety and environmental responsibility.

Operational Support: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and suppliers to resolve technical issues quickly and minimise downtime.

People Development: Set clear performance expectations and provide the necessary tools and guidance to help your team grow and succeed. Enforce policies fairly and consistently.

What We're Looking For:

Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification is advantageous.

Experience:

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a fast-paced, continuous manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and mobile plant operations.

Background in maintenance coordination and troubleshooting production challenges.

Experience managing subcontractors and leading high-performing teams.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Organised and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.

Confident using Microsoft Office and production reporting tools.

Personal Qualities:

Results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
