Production Supervisor required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of electrical lighting products based in the Highgate, Birmingham area. Due to continued success, they are seeking an enthusiastic Production Supervisor to join the team.

Production Supervisor Job Overview

• Managing and supporting the team of electrical assembly and production staff
• Ensuring quality standards are met and products are produced on schedule to the agreed delivery date
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
• Managing stock levels, inventory, and goods-in & out processes
• Operating a counterbalance forklift within the storeroom
• Assisting with the assembly and production of products during peak times

Production Supervisor Job Requirements

• Previous team leader or supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
• Based in a commutable distance of Highgate, Birmingham
• Understanding of ISO9001 standards
• Experience within a manufacturing environment; electronics experience with PCB / SMTs is desirable
• Experience with an MRP system is desirable

Production Supervisor Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary £26,000 - £30,000 based on experience
• Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 16:00; Friday, 07:30 - 13:30. 38-hour week, permanent position.
• 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
