Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Production Operator (Stores) in the Aberdeen area to support efficient production by receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing materials. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.

The role requires a good standard of education and prior stores or stock management experience, with forklift experience preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education is required.
• Previous stores or stock management experience is required.
• Forklift truck experience is preferred but not essential.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming goods and verify deliveries against orders.
• Investigate discrepancies in quantity, quality or documentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Manage min/max stock levels to support production and timely dispatch.
• Pick, issue and prepare materials for assembly.
• Expedite purchase orders and follow up on overdue deliveries.
• Conduct cycle counts and stock audits for accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, organized stores environment and handle loading/unloading as required.
