We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Site Manager to oversee all aspects of health & safety and continuous improvement in a busy cylinder filling and handling environment.
Our client is part of a multi-billion-pound global organisation with over 70,000 staff across multiple countries, recognized as market leaders in their niche manufacturing sector. Due to continued success and strategic growth, they are recruiting a Production Site Manager for their established Cylinder Filling and Handling division near Rotherham.
Reporting to the regional Production Manager, the successful candidate will manage all activities related to Cylinder Filling & Handling at the site, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in managing personnel and services for both internal and external customers.
You will act as the responsible site Landlord, managing safety and operational responsibilities, ensuring compliance with COMAH Regulations and all relevant health & safety legislation. You will be the primary contact with the HSE and external authorities, maintaining legislative compliance and providing a safe environment for all employees.
Additional duties include ensuring stock accuracy and control, implementing continuous improvements in safety and efficiency, adopting best operating and commercial practices, and developing employee skills and competencies to meet productivity targets.
Candidates should be qualified to at least HND level or above in a relevant engineering discipline and hold NEBOSH and IOSH certifications. A minimum of 5 years' experience in cylinder filling & handling operations, along with knowledge of ISO procedures and systems, is essential.
