Overview

Production Shift Supervisor (Nightshift) – Snodland, Kent. Full time, Permanent. Salary £35,000 - £40,000 plus shift allowance. Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off days. You will be responsible for leading and developing a production team on night shift to meet production, quality, and safety targets while driving continuous improvement on the line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and manage a production team to meet daily output and quality targets
  • Ensure health & safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are followed at all times
  • Monitor team performance and support individual development plans
  • Maintain clear and effective communication during and between shifts
  • Support shift KPI delivery across efficiency, waste, quality, and attendance
  • Investigate non-conformances and contribute to performance reviews and daily meetings
  • Maintain accurate production records and shift documentation
  • Coordinate smooth shift handovers
  • Raise people-related concerns with management and HR as required
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing or similar environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Comfortable working with performance metrics and production targets
  • Basic IT and reporting skills
  • Flexible approach and a hands-on, proactive attitude
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems
