Night Shift Supervisor

Location: Kidderminster – On-site, Night Shift

Salary: £41,000 + £6,871.15 shift allowance (£3.41/hour)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Night Shift

Latham & Bond HR are recruiting for our client in Kidderminster to appoint a Night Shift Supervisor within their operations team. This is a critical leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, suited to a hands-on, proactive supervisor who can drive team performance, uphold safety and quality standards, and support staff development throughout the night shift operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the night shift production team to meet output and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with Production Management to align shift operations with production schedules.
  • Champion continuous improvement using KPIs, CCARs, SQDCME, and visual management boards.
  • Deliver effective team briefs and enforce Health & Safety compliance and company policy.
  • Act as the designated Health & Safety representative for the night shift.
  • Manage team absence, timekeeping, and holiday planning.
  • Support the upskilling and development of staff in line with operational needs.
  • Work with support departments to maintain equipment in line with TPM schedules.
  • Ensure issues with machinery and tooling are reported and resolved promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and audit-ready environment through 5S practices.
  • Ensure finished goods meet customer specifications and delivery timelines.

Shift Pattern:

Night Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:15

Shift Allowance: £6,871.15 per annum (£3.41/hour)
