Job summary

Zest is supporting a reputable food manufacturer in recruiting a Shift Manager to join the production team on a Monday to Friday days shift. You will oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and act as a strong ambassador for H&S across the site.

The role requires a proven track record of leading manufacturing teams, strong Excel and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate cross-departmentally with Planning, Hygiene and Despatch.

We are currently working with a highly reputable food manufacturer who are going through an exciting period of growth and change, they are seeking a Shift Manager to join the team on a Mon-Fri days shift!

This role would suit a Shift Manager, Area Manager, Section Manager, Front Line Manager with a background in Production and working cross departmentally with Planning, Hygiene, Despatch etc.

You will be responsible for bringing stability and implementing a new direction for the current team, acting as an ambassador for H&S, ensuring service levels, labour resourcing and driving efficient services, goal setting, KPI management, performance reviews, personal development plans and driving high level of engagements.

To be successful in the role you will need a strong track record of leading teams, ideally within a fast paced/demanding environment. You will need to be proficient in Excel, have an analytical mindset, strong critical reasoning skills, problem solving ability and stakeholder management whilst working collaboratively.
