Key Responsibilities of Shift Production Manager

• Leading manufacturing/production operations, covering both automated and labor-intensive processes, with a focus on automation where possible
• Applying international management skills
• Developing and promoting lean manufacturing techniques such as 5S, Six Sigma, VSM, SMED, TPM, OEE, etc., across manufacturing operations
• Identifying opportunities to further automate manufacturing processes
• Developing multi-functional and flexible manufacturing teams
• Implementing various KPIs across the factory

Qualifications and Experience for a Shift Production Manager

• Previous experience in a senior production or manufacturing leadership role, such as Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Shift Operations Manager, Shift Production Manager, or Production Lead
• Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and improve teams
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment, with practical knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques such as Lean and Six Sigma

This position would suit candidates with experience as a Production Shift Manager, Shift Supervisor, or Production Manager.
