Key Responsibilities of Shift Production Manager:

• Lead manufacturing/production operations, covering both automated and labour intensive processes, while seeking to automate processes where possible
• Develop and promote lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5s, 6 sigma, VSM, SMED, TPM, OEE, etc., across manufacturing operations
• Identify opportunities to further automate manufacturing processes
• Develop multi-functional/flexible manufacturing teams across operations
• Implement different KPIs across the factory

Qualifications and Experience for a Shift Production Manager:

• Previous experience within a senior production/manufacturing leadership position, e.g., Operations Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Shift Operations Manager, Shift Production Manager, Production Lead, etc.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, motivate, develop, and improve teams
• Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment, practically implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques - Lean and Six Sigma
