Job summary

Search is recruiting a Production Team Leader for our client site in Larkhall, Scotland. The role offers a 12-hour continental shift pattern (days/nights) with seven shifts in a 14-day cycle and a competitive overall package.

The ideal candidate will develop a high-performing team, drive production targets, maintain quality standards, and actively pursue continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop and engage a high performing team.
• Previous experience in managing/leading a team in manufacturing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a drive to hit production targets.
• Experience championing continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data-informed decision making.
• Solid work history.
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage and drive Health & Safety within the team.
• Lead the team to deliver the daily production plan and KPIs.
• Ensure product quality meets internal and customer standards.
• Identify training needs and develop operators.
• Lead improvements using 5S, Gemba walks and related audits.
• Address quality issues promptly.
• Organise supply of materials and related documentation.
• Support team performance to maximise capability.
