Location - Bodmin

Working Hours - Monday to Friday - 07:00 - 16:30

Purpose of the Role

As a Production Team Lead you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, safe, and high-quality operation of our production lines. You will lead, support, and motivate your team to meet targets while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of production operatives, ensuring performance, attendance and engagement
• Organise the work of Line Leaders in both high risk and low risk
• Carry out regular team briefs to staff members in relation to performance / training needs to ensure the team operates effectively and targets are met
• To be involved with staff disciplinaries, as required, and responsible for return-to-work procedures.
• Ensure production targets are met in line with safety, quality, and efficiency standards
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to company's health and safety policies

Support the site food safety and quality management systems through active engagement in the site HACCP team, internal and external audit programmes and the proactive use of the QUOR system.

You Will Need

• Previous experience in afood manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A hands-on approach and a commitment to high standards
• Knowledge of KPI indicators – labour, yield, giveaway, waste, plan attainment, financial implications
• Good knowledge of planning, processing, quality procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure and within budgets parameters.
• Ability to provide accurate data.
