Job summary

Polypipe Civils and Green Urbanisation, part of the Genuit Group, is seeking a maintenance professional to lead tool changes, TPMs, and changeovers with a focus on right-first-time production. The role involves training colleagues, daily equipment monitoring, and root-cause analysis to ensure high quality outputs.

Applicants should have LOLER training, prior manufacturing and trainer experience, and strong organisational skills.

Qualifications

• LOLER Training required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a trainer is preferred.
• Computer literacy with MS Office.
• Technically minded with good problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of business processes and ability to document.
• Accurate paperwork and workload management.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead tool changes, TPMs, changeovers, shutdowns and starts to meet production targets with minimal disruption.
• Coordinate with Production Team Leaders to allocate labour for tool changes.
• Inspect product quality during machine start-up and uphold right-first-time standards.
• Identify production issues, perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver training on relevant processes and procedures.
• Maintain preventative maintenance practices and monitor equipment daily for efficiency.
• Assess breakdowns and arrange repairs or report issues via the job card system.
• Maintain housekeeping and complete mandatory training.
• Assist in risk assessments and health, safety and environmental documentation.
• Identify safety risks and opportunities to improve safety and environmental impact.
