Job Title: Production Scheduling Planner

Location: Slough

Salary: £36,700-£41,300 dependent on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri

Contract: Fixed term - 12 Months

Here at Mars, we have an exciting opportunity for a Production Scheduling Planner to join our team! The Production Scheduling Planner works as part of a dynamic team to manage overall stock levels, optimize line utilization to maximize output, ensure consistent production line performance, and fulfill customer orders. This includes managing physical stock levels in various formats, conversion operations, and packaging elements.

What are we looking for?

• Supply Chain experience in an operational manufacturing environment, including inventory management or materials planning roles
• Experience measuring and making decisions based on performance metrics such as Volume Compliance, Adherence to Schedule, Efficiency/TRS, OTIF, CFR, CSL, DIOH, SFA, BIAS
• Project Management experience
• Knowledge of planning systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with SAP, Mapp, or other supply planning applications (desirable)
• FMCG experience (desirable)

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Ensure adequate stock levels in different formats to fulfill customer orders
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving inventory issues and providing analytical data and information
• Actively manage inventory reporting
• Track inventory performance against KPIs and identify improvement opportunities
