You will be responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules, managing inventory levels, and executing Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Work model: Onsite at our facility in Nottingham.

Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Create and maintain a detailed production plan to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Work Order Management: Release manufacturing work orders and execute daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to manage production requirements.
  • Demand Forecasting: Analyze sales forecasts and historical data to predict future production needs and adjust schedules accordingly.
  • Sequence and Lead Time Management: Establish the sequence and lead time for each operation to meet shipment dates as per the master schedule/plan.
  • Schedule Adherence Monitoring: Monitor schedule adherence, identify key root causes for deviations, and implement follow-up improvement actions.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to coordinate production plans and address potential issues.
  • Qualifications/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Prioritization: Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools, ERP systems.
