Production Scheduler

Location: Lincoln Teal Park

Role Type: Hybrid - 3 days in Office / 2 days Home based

Core Hours: 7am-3pm

Employment Type: Full Time

Duration: Initially 12 months with potential for Temp to Perm - rolling contract

Site Visits: 2-3 times a year

Job Description

You will be part of the team responsible for manufacturing engines within Teal Park and Rushton works. This involves sourcing raw materials, refurbishing, fitting into standard engineering and assembly, alongside testing.

Your responsibilities include controlling and monitoring production processes to ensure smooth workflow, optimizing resource use.

  • Prepare for production by considering order status, capacity, stock levels, backlogs, procurement, personnel, cycle times, and delivery schedules to create an optimal production sequence.
  • Complete necessary documentation and data for each production order to ensure effective handling.
  • Manage material requisitions to ensure timely order start regarding material supply.
  • Microcontrol production sequences to optimize resource utilization.
  • Record and monitor workflow to reflect current production status.
  • Coordinate material movements between production units for optimal production runs.
  • Collaborate with all involved parties and interface partners, sharing relevant information to maintain an efficient logistics chain.
Skills / Requirements
  • Experience as a Material Scheduler, Stock Controller, Logistics Coordinator, or similar is desirable.
  • Experience with SAP or MRP systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Effective communication skills at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Logical thinking to resolve queries and escalations.
