Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain the mid to long‑term MPS for all products across the Broughton plant.
• Update tactical build plans to optimise production in the shorter term.
• Calculate resource requirements to ensure workload alignment.
• Monitor adherence to the build plan to ensure it is achievable.
• Master Production Scheduling (MPS).
• Tactical planning & work package monitoring.
• Capacity and resource calculations.
• Planning assumption agreement.
• Refinement and optimisation of production build plans.
• Recovery planning.
• Scenario analysis.
• Compile KPIs for reporting and monitoring of the business.

Production Scheduler

12 month contract

Offering £30.76ph Inside IR35

As the Production Scheduler, you will be working alongside a market‑leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:

• Producing and maintaining the mid to long‑term MPS (Master Production Schedule) for all the products across in the Broughton plant
• Updating tactical build plans, which are used to optimise production in the shorter term
• Calculating resource requirements to ensure we have workload/workforce alignment
• Monitor the adherence to the build plan, whilst ensuring it is achievable
• Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
• Tactical planning & work package monitoring
• Capacity and resource calculations
• Planning assumption agreement
• Refinement and optimisation of the production build plans
• Recovery planning
• Scenario analysis
• Compilation of key performance indicators (KPI's) for reporting and monitoring of the business

Your skillset may include:

• Experience in Production Scheduling
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
• Collaborating well within a team
• Able to interface with other functions in a production environment
• Experience of using Google suite and similar digital tools (e.g MS Office)
• A working knowledge of Python coding
• Education to a minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in Business, Operations or similar subjects
