ARNE is an apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east and then ship directly to our customers, via ARNEclo.com. We have recently branched out and are now also available via Selfridges both in store and online.
We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring product quality and supplier compliance across our supply chain. Working closely with our Merchandising, Garment Tech, and Quality Control teams, as well as external suppliers and inspectors, you'll help manage quality inspections, coordinate supplier onboarding, and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
- Co-ordinate with merch teams and suppliers to establish and manage QC inspections on high-risk lines
- Liaise with 3rd party inspectors to plan best time to conduct QC inspections, and what inspection type is necessary
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, defects, and corrective action plans
- Review reports internally with QC team/ Head of Sourcing, to understand next steps to take
- Liaise with suppliers on findings, and product team on solutions
- Liaise with internal QC team to perform spot checks on incoming goods into ARNE warehouse
- Manage all supplier onboarding, including collecting and reviewing supplier onboarding questionnaires, ensuring relevant documentation is signed, and centrally collating relevant compliance and quality documentation
- Manage the internal supplier database, keeping it organised & up to date
- Communicate onboarding status to relevant internal stakeholders
- Manage any supplier factory additions or changes with the Head of Sourcing and audit team
- Schedule and co-ordinate meetings, inspections and onboarding sessions
Required skills:
- Experience working in a similar role previously is preferred
- Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
