Production / Process Operative

Location: Wetherby due to location candidate Must Drive
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week), Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm flexible could be 8am till 4pm
Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 + Bonus Scheme (subject to company performance)

Our client, a dynamic and growing manufacturer of high-quality beauty products, is looking for a hands-on Production Operative to join their close-knit team of three. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive working environment where teamwork, flexibility, and attention to detail are key.
Key Responsibilities
Production Duties:

  • Manually fill and label containers using both manual and semi-automatic machines
  • Assist with weighing and mixing of ingredients for product batches
  • Apply labels to tubes and packaging by hand with precision and care
  • Pack and seal boxes by hand, including taping and palletising for shipment
  • Conduct batch coding, carton assembly, and quality control checks
  • Carry out batch sampling and labelling in line with GMP standards
  • Clean and maintain production equipment and workspace to hygiene standards
  • Perform regular stock checks and support wider production activities as needed

Warehousing Duties:

  • Move packaging and finished goods (up to 25kg)
  • Stack and hand-wrap pallets ready for dispatch
  • Operate manual pallet trucks and move goods between sites
  • Accept deliveries and collections using shutter doors
  • Drive company van between business locations as required


What We're Looking For

  • Experience with manual production work such as mixing, weighing, labelling, and packing
  • Team player attitude - you'll be working in a small team of 3, so collaboration and communication are essential
  • Flexible and hands-on approach - willing to support across production and warehousing tasks as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Physically fit and confident with manual handling tasks
  • Experience in cosmetics, food production, or similar industry is beneficial but not essential
  • Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a plus


Health & Safety

  • PPE provided (lab coat, gloves, hair net, and safety boots) - must be worn at all times in production areas
  • Hi-vis vests required when operating pallet trucks or working outdoors
