Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers is seeking an experienced Production Process Engineer to support rolling stock overhaul and refurbishment within a safety-critical rail environment. You will develop production workflows, create work instructions, validate BOMs and support engineering assurance activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating production workflows for overhaul projects.
  • Experience writing work instructions and engineering procedures.
  • Strong understanding of engineering assurance and quality processes.
  • Mechanical and electrical rolling stock knowledge.
  • Proven experience in the UK railway industry.
  • ONC/HNC in Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Create and validate Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Process Engineer to support rolling stock overhaul and refurbishment projects within a safety-critical rail environment.

You'll develop production workflows, create work instructions and engineering procedures, validate Bills of Materials (BOMs), and support engineering assurance activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

  • Support engineering assurance and concession activities.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to deliver project objectives.
  • Proven experience within the UK railway industry.
  • Production/process engineering background.
  • Experience writing work instructions and engineering procedures.
  • Strong understanding of engineering assurance and quality processes.
  • Mechanical and electrical rolling stock knowledge.
  • ONC/HNC (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline.
