Production Planning Coordinator
Are you highly organised, analytical, and experienced in production planning within a fresh produce or factory setting? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business that supplies fresh produce globally, playing a key part in ensuring that production operations run efficiently and meet customer demands.
The Role:
As a Production Planning Coordinator, you'll support the Planning and Operational Excellence teams to ensure production schedules are accurate, achievable, and aligned with both capacity and demand. From live production tracking to labour forecasting, you will be central to maintaining smooth production flows and optimising resource utilisation.
Working Pattern:
This is a full-time, on-site role working Tuesday to Saturday to align with production and supply chain demands.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and maintain daily/weekly/monthly production schedules
Monitor real-time production progress and adjust plans as needed
Liaise with teams across production, supply chain, procurement, and warehouse
Optimise labour and equipment usage, including managing agency labour forecasts
Support and track KPIs for efficiency, cost control, and continuous improvement
Prepare data for operational meetings and reports
Contribute to process improvement initiatives
What Youll Need:
2+ years experience in production planning within a fresh produce or factory environment
Strong Excel skills (ERP/D365 knowledge a bonus)
Ability to problem-solve and act with urgency
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Analytical mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
