About the Company

Your New Role

As Production Planner, you will create and revise detailed production schedules based on customer orders and forecasts from commercial teams, considering production capacity and other factors to ensure the plan is optimized and achievable.

Requirements

You should have proven experience in a similar role, with examples of improving Production Planning processes and outcomes. You must be comfortable liaising between shop floor production teams and office-based planning and commercial functions. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complexity are essential. Technical and IT skills, including advanced Excel, are required. Experience with system upgrades (e.g., MRP/ERP implementation or upgrades), especially with systems like SAP Business One or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, is advantageous. Familiarity with relevant metrics such as output, efficiency, and inventory, and the ability to use data for efficiency improvements and cost reductions, are also important.

What You'll Get
  • A key role within a forward-looking business offering competitive remuneration, benefits, and opportunities for progression. Primarily on-site, with some WFH flexibility (1 day/week) once established. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times (e.g., 08:00-16:00 or 08:30-16:30) and a 30-minute unpaid break.
