Job summary

Actpcherbourg is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to create and maintain manufacturing planning, BoMs, routings and process specifications to support robust operations. You will use the Evolution MRP system, define material requirements, tooling and process parameters while driving lean improvements.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality and Design teams to resolve issues, deliver training and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or related discipline desirable.
• Previous experience using an MRP system is essential.
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain Manufacturing Information Sheets, route cards, BoMs, planning structures and manufacturing specifications in line with company standards.
• Use the Evolution MRP system to create and maintain routings and BoMs.
• Define material requirements, process parameters and suitable manufacturing methods.
• Identify, specify and implement required tooling and equipment.
• Create test specifications and support the manufacture and rework of composite test samples where required.
• Develop manufacturing processes to achieve stable production performance while meeting design intent and product specifications.
• Support engineering change control and design review activities.
• Assist Production and Quality teams in resolving manufacturing issues, non-conformances and process challenges.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve product quality, process efficiency, build cycles and waste reduction.
• Deliver training and guidance on manufacturing processes, applications and specifications.

Purpose

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining manufacturing planning and process information to support robust, repeatable manufacturing operations. The role ensures effective works order sequencing, work centre performance and manufacturing process control while supporting continuous improvement across production activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Engineering

Education & Professional Experience

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Business or a related discipline desirable.
