Major Recruitment is seeking an experienced production administrator for a steel manufacturing site in Oldbury. You will support planning and scheduling, align orders with production plans and manage shop floor data using TechMES and SAP.

The role requires prior production-based administrative experience, with Monday–Friday 7am–3pm hours and a salary up to £30,000 depending on experience. Benefits include a company pension, Medicash and holiday entitlement.

• Production admin experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Review workloads and customer requirements to support planning and scheduling across rolling mills.
• Align sales orders with mill production plans and delivery commitments.
• Support daily and forward production planning considering workload and stock.
• Coordinate slitter planning and coil deliveries to external slitters.
• Liaise with internal production teams to monitor progress and issues affecting output or delivery schedules.
• Communicate changes to production plans to relevant departments and external contacts.
• Provide general admin support for day-to-day production department operations.
• Use TechMES to manage shop floor production data and order processing.
• Use SAP to support production administration, stock control and recording of production information.
• Review production figures for accuracy and completeness.
• Complete daily production checks and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain high standards of organisation and data accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in production administration and stock control.
• Follow health, safety, quality, environmental and housekeeping standards.
