About Our Client
We are seeking a Production Planner for a permanent position. The successful candidate will use ERP/MRP systems (D365) to ensure efficient shop floor loading and OTIF customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure machines are loaded efficiently, maintaining customer delivery dates.
- Track all live work orders daily.
- Produce weekly/monthly forward loading plans for each machine, including manual operations.
- Ensure parts are moved promptly to the next process.
- Allocate subcontract orders for purchasing timely.
- Issue raw materials promptly.
- Keep BOMs updated with accurate set and cycle times.
- Correctly issue stocks to work orders.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Monitor KPIs and production performance.
- Prioritize workflow to meet monthly order and sales targets.
- Raise purchase requisitions for subcontract operations.
- Complete administrative tasks within D365.
- Coordinate with other departments and handle data requests.
- Adhere to established procedures and participate in training and system updates.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience as a Production Planner in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and process optimization (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving skills focused on efficiency and quality control.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); D365 experience is a plus but training will be provided.
- Must be able to commute daily to Westbury and work in-office five days a week.

- Salary between £35,000 and £37,000 per annum.
