Job summary

Marshalls plc in Gainsborough is seeking a Production Planner to join our Manufacturing team. You will coordinate production schedules, manage material supplies, and balance capacity to meet customer demand while maintaining accurate SAP data and strong supplier relationships.

This role offers 36.5 hours per week (8:30am–5pm) with competitive salary and benefits, including pension, health plan, and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, materials planning, purchasing or supply chain, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing production schedules, material requirements and stock availability to meet operational demands.
• Confident using SAP or a similar ERP system, alongside Excel and production/inventory reporting.
• Strong planning, organisation and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and work accurately.
• Experience working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve delivery, quality, stock and specification issues.
• A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement, with timber/wood-products industry experience or knowledge of FSC/PEFC standards being an advantage.

Responsibilities
