Job summary

easyJet holidays is seeking a Production Planner based in Luton. You will translate maintenance plans into practical daily work, coordinating people, tooling and paperwork to keep aircraft on schedule.

In a 4 on/4 off 12-hour shift pattern with hybrid office attendance, you’ll partner with Engineering and Maintenance to balance workload, resources and safety, while driving continuous improvement in planning processes.

Qualifications

• You’ll bring demonstrable experience of effective maintenance planning and the ability to balance workload and resources.
• You’ll communicate clearly with colleagues and manage stakeholders with confidence.
• You’ll be adaptable, motivated and committed to continuous improvement, with strong written skills.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel; AMOS knowledge is desirable.

Production Planner

Luton | Full-time | 4 on, 4 off day shifts

We support hybrid working, and you’ll spend 60% of your time each month in the office.

The opportunity

As a Production Planner in our Engineering and Maintenance team, you’ll plan the daily workload and scheduled maintenance requirements within easyJet’s Part 145 organisation.

You’ll match available people and resources to the work that needs to be completed, helping the maintenance team deliver safely, on schedule and with strong productivity. This is a full-time Luton role working 12-hour day shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern.

The team & culture

You’ll be part of easyJet’s Engineering and Maintenance team, working closely with maintenance colleagues, Stores and operational stakeholders. It’s a practical, fast-moving environment where clear communication, ownership and attention to detail all matter.

You’ll also help create a positive team environment by recognising good work, supporting engagement and looking for better ways to plan and deliver maintenance.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll review scheduled work packages each day and coordinate the people needed to complete them successfully. You’ll keep the plan realistic, monitor progress and help ensure planned maintenance is carried out as scheduled.

You’ll make sure the right tooling and equipment are available, and coordinate with Stores so the aircraft parts and materials needed for the work are ready when required.

You’ll monitor unscheduled maintenance requirements, including MEL and CDL operational procedures, and adapt the plan when priorities change.

You’ll help maintain high standards of control and compliance by ensuring technical logs, work packages and supporting paperwork are completed accurately, while identifying and implementing improvements within the department.

You’ll bring demonstrable experience of effective maintenance planning, with the organisation and judgement to balance scheduled work, available resources and changing operational needs.

You’ll be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. You can communicate clearly face to face, build constructive relationships and manage stakeholders with confidence.

You’ll be flexible, motivated and committed to continuous improvement, with strong written communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of AMOS is desirable, rather than essential.
