Job summary

Eaton's Crouse-Hinds Business in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottingham, is seeking a production planner to create and maintain production orders in line with demand, capacity, and material availability. You will liaise with internal customers and production teams to manage changes and co-ordinate with suppliers for inter-plant demands.

You will review engineering changes, monitor material supply issues, and drive improvements to sustain service levels.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years planning experience in a make-to-order manufacturing environment.
Engineering background would be an advantage.
ERP experience (SAP) desirable and beneficial.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain production orders in line with demand, material availability and capacity constraints.
Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal customers and production teams.
Create reports detailing load and capacity requirements for the plant.
Create and maintain purchase orders for inter-plant demands as necessary.
Review customer amendments and expedite requests and communicate changes to production and Customer Service.
Review engineering changes and communicate actions to production.
Review material supply issues impacting the production plan and inform Customer Service of impacts.
Identify areas for improvement to enhance service levels and performance.
