Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum

Overview

The Production Planner will oversee the production scheduling process, ensuring manufacturing and delivery deadlines are met efficiently. The role requires excellent organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery, coordinating with Sales, Design, Purchasing, and Operations to align activities with company goals.
• Facilitate communication between departments to synchronize activities and resolve issues.
• Review incoming orders and provide delivery dates to Sales Teams.
• Track program/product contracts and pricing.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Generate and analyze production reports to monitor progress and identify improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in production planning or similar role.
• Proficiency in production planning software and MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and decision-making.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail in managing schedules and inventory.
