Job description

As the production planner you will oversee all planning/scheduling and labour planning for the high-pressure business. The candidate must have a broad range of skill on excel include use of macros/formula and have good numerical mind. Control of production routing and raising of production paperwork.

Description

  • Collaborate with the Production team to ensure customer dispatch deadlines are met
  • Assist in demand planning and labour capacity forecasting
  • Prepare and issue production paperwork, including kitting as required
  • Participate in daily shortage meetings with Supervisors to address material or production gaps
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with both production and purchasing departments
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and apply LEAN methodologies where applicable
  • Understand key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports for presentation to the management team
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork skills; effectively liaise with all departments to ensure smooth operations

Profile

A successful Production Planner should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Excellent organizational abilities with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of inventory control and supply chain best practices
  • Skilled in cross-functional communication and collaboration with various departments
  • Able to perform effectively in high-pressure environments and meet critical deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis
  • Familiarity with SAP; experience considered a plus
  • Hands-on experience with production and capacity planning processes

Job Offer
