Overview

Production Planner

£40,000–£45,000 DoE

If you enjoy keeping things running smoothly and like being at the heart of a busy manufacturing site, this could be a great next step for you.

We’re looking for a Production Planner who’s confident working with data in a fast-paced factory environment, a strong communicator who can keep everyone in the loop when plans change as they often do.

You’ll be part of a team that relies on good communication and attention to detail to keep production efficient and on schedule.

This is a shift role (4 on / 4 off) with a fully subsidised canteen and other on-site perks.

Responsibilities
  • Building and updating production plans so everything runs efficiently
  • Keeping track of stock levels and making sure data stays accurate
  • Processing customer orders and updating forecasts when things shift
  • Planning around hygiene and engineering schedules
  • Spotting trends in orders and communicating changes across the site
  • Making sure all data is up to date and backed up
Requirements
  • Experience in production planning within food, FMCG or automotive manufacturing
  • Confidence working with data and planning systems
  • Agile to react at speed when plans change
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Clear, practical communication style and attention to detail
  • A good understanding of how manufacturing sites operate day to day
  • Comfortable in the factory as well as the office.
