Job description

Leadership Tasks
  • Liaise with Warehouse Managers/Team Leaders, and other departments to meet production and servicing needs.
  • Ensure a high service level is maintained.
  • Attend daily team meetings and deliver reportable figures.
Tasks
  • Prioritise all orders in collaboration with Warehouse Managers/Team Leaders.
  • Verify and finalise completed production orders.
  • Maintain organisation and ensure all production paperwork is accurate and up to date.
  • Develop production plans and servicing schedules based on customer demands and operational capabilities.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates regarding potential delays, delivery timelines, and quality issues.
  • Collect and analyse data on production performance and team efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reports, ensuring full transparency for relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide cross‑functional coverage for other roles in SCM job area when necessary.
  • Resolve inventory queries and investigations.
  • Carry out root cause analysis where required.
  • Champion continuous improvement (Identify and action).
Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production planning role preferred.
