Production Planner

£40,000 - £50,000 Basic + Good Package + Progression + "IMMEDIATE START"

Join a small, renowned manufacturer of automotive and aerospace components with ambitious plans to expand their operations. As a Production Planner, you'll be key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, the right materials are purchased, and you'll have a clear pathway to progress to a planning manager role.

This company has a fantastic product range and has been successful for many years. With an ambitious new CEO in place, they are looking to expand into different industries. As a Production Planner, you'll organize manufacturing and purchasing processes, ensuring the operation runs smoothly and efficiently, while building and eventually heading up the department.

As a Production Planner, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working within a small technical team of 15-20 members
  • Planning and organizing production and delivery of projects
  • Purchasing materials and ensuring stock readiness
  • Building relationships with suppliers worldwide

Requirements for a Production Planner include:

  • Experience as a production planner or in a manufacturing environment (machining, component manufacture, or similar)
  • Understanding of materials such as polymers and metals
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, or similar production sectors (preferred)
  • Located within commutable distance to Slough
