Overview

Production Planner – Location: Telford. Salary: Up to circa £30k per annum. Benefits: Enhanced annual leave. Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Friday (onsite).

Responsibilities

• Checking and creating schedules and ensuring capacity can meet demand; forecasts reflect any changes in demand.
• Monitoring production progress and amending schedules as needed.
• Working closely with the production teams and contributing to production meetings.
• Managing SKU Lifecycles (new products in, old products out).
• Monitoring supplier performance by working with the purchasing team and communicating issues regarding supplier delivery, performance or quality.

Experience and qualifications

• Experience within the manufacturing sector, ideally in roles such as Production Planner, Manufacturing Planner, Production Controller, Production Scheduler, Materials Controller or Supply Planner.
• Base planning experience; competent in MS Excel and ideally experience with MRP/ERP software (not a deal-breaker).
