Production Planner

Location: Royston, UK

The role:

As a Production Planner, you will help drive our goals by:

• Prioritize Environmental, Health, and Safety standards while driving LEAN methodologies, maintaining standard work operations, and serving as a D3 super user to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage the Master Production Schedule by analyzing production and demand data, ensuring efficient supply chain processes, and reducing slow-moving inventory through targeted action plans.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and sales teams to align on supply chain requirements, adhere to production plans, and communicate delays or issues promptly.
• Support the Sales and Operations Planning process by analyzing demand and capacity, while partnering with supply chain and management teams to identify and implement process improvements

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role :

• Passion for IT with a strong willingness to learn and awareness of business and commercial contexts (extensive training provided).
• Experience in Production Control or Supply Chain, with strong organizational, planning, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
• Adaptable and eager to develop within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
