Job summary

Forest Feast in Northern Ireland is seeking a production planning specialist to schedule factory lines, optimise runs and minimise downtime while maintaining customer service levels. The role involves forecasting input, planning using ERP/MRP systems, and coordinating with managers to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in production planning, strong organisation, attention to detail and excellent communication skills, ensuring efficient allergen-compliant production

Responsibilities

• Import the forecasting.
• Production planning using Defacto/ERP/MRP systems.
• Run reports daily (min/max stock holding per product area).
• Liaise with managers and other departments to ensure smooth production.
• Use software to collect and analyse figures and produce optimised schedules with allergen management in mind.
• Update capacity plans.
• Goods out daily.
• Check raw materials for lines and works orders ensuring stock availability.
• Update CSL reports.
• Update BOM tables for packaging and raw material requirements.

General role:

To effectively schedule the factories production lines, optimising runs and minimising down time based on allergens whilst maintaining our Customer Service level.

Main Responsibilities:

• Import the forecasting
• Production planning using computer software package, e.g Defacto /ERP/MRP etc
• Running reports daily (min/max stock holding per product area)
• Liasing with managers and other departments to ensure smooth running of production
• Using computer software to collect and analyse figures and produce schedules ensuring schedule is optimised in accordance with allergen management, minimising changeover where possible.
• Capacity plan update
• Goods out daily
• Check raw materials for line and works orders ensuring appropriate stock availability
• CSL report update
• BOM tables updated for packaging and raw material requirements

What you need:
