About the role

We’re looking for an experienced, self-driven and logical Production Planner to join our dynamic fast-growing brand. This is a position reporting to the Planning Manager, working within the Operations function of the business.

To ensure the smooth execution of production across our multiple 3rd party filler sites, the Production Planner will be responsible for managing planning schedules, coordinating with partners, maintaining system accuracy, and driving efficiency throughout the process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop both short and long-term production plans based on demand, MRP and promotional activity.
• Create and manage work orders, and coordinate with the Warehouse to ensure timely delivery of components to filling partners.
• Optimise production efficiency by planning lines effectively to achieve cost and quantity targets.
• Communicate delays or issues within QC/NPI teams proactively.
• Produce accurate and timely reporting for senior team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related challenges.
• Maintain SAP housekeeping: update due dates, close out old work orders, transfer and purchase orders.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and filling partners through regular communication.
• Source additional fillers, including requesting quotes, samples, and organising trial runs.
• Work with partners to implement efficiency or product improvements.
• Review and query related invoices as needed.
• Support with additional administrative tasks when required.

• Commercial awareness and an understanding of cost-effective planning.
• Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes is advantageous.
• Strong skills in inventory management and forecasting.
• Highly organised with good problem-solving ability.
