Overview

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Production Planner to join a well established company in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire.

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, ST5
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm
Permanent office based role

The Role

As a Production Planner, you'll play a key part in ensuring products are delivered on time and to the highest standard. Working within the planning team, you will be responsible for scheduling, capacity planning and progressing orders through production to meet customer deadlines. This is a great opportunity for someone with production planning experience who thrives in a busy engineering or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production stages including fabrication, galvanising and powder coating
• Maintain accurate works orders within the MRP system
• Issue production plans and track progress to ensure deadlines are met
• Assist with time studies to support accurate capacity planning
• Review and update order dates in line with stock and sales demands
• Liaise with internal teams and external subcontractors to keep production on track
• Provide completion updates to customer services and installations teams

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a production planning role
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
• Background in engineering or manufacturing is desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of fabrication and fettling and powder coating planning would be an advantage
