Skills, Experience, and Education Required:
  • Previous experience as a Production Planner within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel and familiar with MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of MRP principles.
  • Good at math and statistics.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate production workflow for multiple products.
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  • Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to meet production demand.
  • Monitor jobs to ensure they finish on time and within budget.
  • Address issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Obtain output information (e.g., number of finished products, defect rates).
  • Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
  • Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.
  • Communicate expected completion and dispatch dates to internal stakeholders (Sales) in advance.
  • Monitor lead times within maximum defined durations for each product line.
  • Identify constraints and bottlenecks to improve lead time.
  • Develop systems and roles to support rapid growth of production output.
